I've attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and the College of New Jersey. I'm currently employed as an adjunct teacher at Bucks County Community College's Language and Literature Department I'm fortunate that my job is located right in my hometown of Newton, PA.My approach to learning is to give my pupils the skills they need in order to be successful when they attend classes at higher learning institutions. In order for this to occur, I give my students tips and hints on how to perform well on standardized tests as well as how to choose the right post-secondary learning institution. I can give them advice about finding money for college as well as how to apply to the school of their choice. I've been able to see the students I have taught, along with my own children, move on to become very successful people.I'd like to tutor students in a number of subject areas, and I'm including a list here: English, Reading, ACCUPLACER Reading Comprehension, Grammar and Mechanics, Writing, Sociology, Social Sciences, College Essays, SAT (Verbal, Critical Reading, Writing), Study Skills and Organization, and Test Prep.
